What does this tool tell you?
The DORA Metrics Calculator computes performance tier classification for all four DORA metrics against 2023 State of DevOps Report thresholds.
What affects the result most?
Deployment Frequency: Elite >1/day, High weekly-monthly, Medium monthly-biannually, Low <6/year. Lead Time for Changes: Elite <1 hour, High 1day-1week, Medium 1week-1month, Low >6 months. Change Failure Rate (DORA 2023): Elite/High ≤15%, Medium 16-29%, Low ≥30%.
How should I use the result?
The calculation is deterministic — the same inputs always produce the same output — so the most useful workflow is to vary one input at a time and see which factor moves the result most. That tells you where to focus your attention before committing to a decision.
DORA classification is step one. The fix list is step two. The DevOps Health Pack ranks every delivery bottleneck — blocked reviews, slow pipelines, incident-heavy services — from your real data.
